Founded in 1964 by Russ Jansen as a TV repair store, Jansen Electronics operated out of a modified Railroad Caboose. Over that time Jansen Electronics has earned our quality reputation from years of providing effective, low cost, and reliable electronics to our customers. Our reputation is something we take very seriously. We strive to maintain it through our understanding of the industry, evolving with new technological developments and doing the utmost for each and every customer.
Our current location, as of March 2007, is located 6 miles east of Freeport, Illinois and about 20 miles west of Rockford, Illinois at the southeast corner of US Route 20 and Rock City Road. Our front door is facing US Route 20, which is the longest road in the US. Stretching from Coast to Coast - that's 3365 miles and it's one of the busiest 4-lane highways in northwestern Illinois! However, we have the best of both worlds being surrounded by the scenic countryside!
At Jansen Electronics, our team of dedicated personnel are available to answer any of your questions. Each product that you acquire is backed by a solid guarantee. All aspects of customer service including technical support and in or out of warranty repair items are handled in house. We are a real business with a real storefront and work with, repair and service our equipment. We are not just a seller on the internet that doesn't know their products, then steer you somewhere else later when you have questions or repair issues.
